Goodbye Kevin
Kevin has lived in Washington since March 2001 serving as the Independent Living Program Manager for the Department of Services for the Blind. Prior to moving to Washington he worked in Idaho for twenty-five years starting out in human resources before moving into the field of work with the blind in 1983.

Blind since age two, approximately 50 years now, Kevin attended public elementary school and then attended the Idaho State School for the Deaf and Blind, graduating in 1972. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boise State University

Kevin uses both a white cane and dog guide for mobility purposes depending on the activity and location. He is certified to teach Orientation and Mobility to blind persons and has done so for many years.

He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and has strong interests in amateur radio, reading, music, traveling and sailing.
