Andres Aguirre was appointed DVR Interim Director on 01/07/10. Andres began working for DVR over 15 years ago and has promoted through progressively higher levels of DVR field service and program management positions.
He initially came to DVR as a VRC Intern working in the Toppenish office. He transferred to Kennewick when an opportunity was presented. He eventually moved to Walla Walla where he was promoted from VRC to Lead VRC and eventually Supervisor. He served as the Supervisor of the Kennewick/Walla Walla Unit for about eight years.
During this time Andres also served in the National Guard. His company was activated for service in November 2003 and he served in Iraq from March 2004 through March 2005.
He promoted to the DVR State Office in late 2007 as the Community Program Administrator.
